Open Bio Labs is the ultimate co-working maker space.
With plenty of desk space, whiteboards and whiteboard tables, office accouterments like Wifi and printers, tools such as drills and circle saws, electronics equipments, and a fully outfitted biology laboratory, you have the freedom to make whatever you choose.
As a member, you have the opportunity to use Open Bio Labs whenever a keyholder is present, which is typically between 9am and 8pm Monday-Friday, and may even become a keyholder yourself. Use of OBL includes the access to lab equipment and basic supplies as well as free basic laboratory training. In addition to use, members are also given discounts on events, including classes, and receive voting rights towards the lab structure and environment.
*Included in the lab is access to a member’s-only portal (Center for Open Science). This portal will be a space for members to develop their experiments, access instructional content, and discuss their projects with other members of Open Bio Labs.
